Who is Ariel?

Clinical Psychotherapist | Psychoanalyst
I am a psychoanalyst with advanced training in psychoanalysis, expressive arts therapy, and contemporary psychoanalytic methods. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from The New School, a Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis from the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, and completed post-graduate studies at the Institute for Expressive Analysis. Since 2015, I have worked in private practice, rehabilitation centers, and psychosocial programs, supporting adults and occasionally children through meaningful psychological growth and life transitions.

Who I Work With

I specialize in accomplished adults and creative professionals who feel stuck—whether in their careers, relationships, or personal pursuits. Many of my clients navigate depression, anxiety, or unhealthy patterns and are ready to challenge entrenched habits to create meaningful change.

My Approach

I take a collaborative, warm, and insightful approach, integrating:

  • Socratic questioning

  • Existential exploration

  • Expressive and dramatic therapies

  • Music and play therapy

  • Guided meditation

I help clients clarify what truly matters to them, construct a path toward fulfillment, and celebrate breakthroughs as if they were my own. My style is intelligent, grounded, and deeply engaged, combining creativity with evidence-based techniques to achieve real results.

Why Work With Me

Together, we explore your past, present, and future, defining what you want from life and mapping a clear path toward it. I guide you in uncovering your potential, navigating transitions, and creating a life that feels purposeful, authentic, and deeply satisfying.
